Giving Days are online fundraising challenges (24 hours or longer) that bring communities and campuses together to raise awareness and funds for different initiatives.
Increased P2P Functionality
Some of your biggest Giving Day supporters are your P2P (peer-to-peer) fundraisers! Since these fundraisers are taking the initiative to spread the word about your organization, they need tools to create informative and engaging profiles. Their Peer-to-Peer Dashboard will now show even more customization options to better showcase their stories and attract new donors. With the integration of Summernote, P2P fundraisers can add additional pictures to their profile, update text sizes and colors in their story section, and more!

Faster, More Personalized Donation Flow
Ensuring that our checkout process is simple and efficient is always one of our top priorities. We know that an easy checkout experience helps donors complete their gift transactions quickly and efficiently. Previously, donors would select their preferred level of anonymity for each individual gift they made within the first section of the donation flow. To help sequence the checkout process, donors will now select their anonymity setting for all their gifts with a single click during the final step of the donation flow.
Additionally, we have improved our donation flow to allow donors to support their favorite peer-to-peer (P2P) fundraisers more easily. Within the checkout process, donors will attribute their gift to a specific fundraiser name via a dropdown list. This update allows donors to feel confident that their donation will count for their intended fundraiser. Many Giving Days offer prize or challenge funds based on the success of (P2P) fundraiser campaigns, making it essential for donors to correctly make this selection every time a gift is made.

More Team Communication
Our Community Giving "Notes" feature allows your teams to communicate internally within your Partner Dashboard. We have seen this most utilized when tracking field updates and managing the auditing process for your participating organizations. In making sure your team can display all pertinent information, we have expanded the "Notes" feature to now accommodate messages with up to 10,000 characters - a 400% increase from before.
Donation Forms empower you to create completely custom and embeddable forms for collecting donations, registrations, and RFIs (Requests For Information) integrated into your website.
Improved Card Run Protection
A fully processed gift is every fundraiser's goal. At GiveGab, we want to make sure all donations come through the platform securely and efficiently. To combat unwanted gateway fees from chargebacks or declined gifts, we have made significant improvements to the way we are monitoring our form submissions. Our improved, multi-layered monitoring prevents submissions from large-scale card runs from reaching the payment gateway.
We know that data is your organization's key tool for making results-driven decisions regarding your fundraising strategies. This is why we are always looking for ways to improve our reporting tools to help our customers. Within the Enterprise Donation Forms data management tool, many categories and columns can be added to any custom report. To improve navigating the different options, all categories and columns have also been alphabetized to easily build reports that will better match your organization's unique needs.
Every campaign is unique, and we want to make sure you have the ability to customize each form to optimize your organization's success. Within the Enterprise Donation Forms platform, customers now can add Cascaded Style Sheets (CSS) Classes to form questions. This upgrade will allow you to more easily apply styling to specific form elements like donation and registration levels to make it even easier for your constituents.

New Options for Payment Gateways
Recurring donors are a huge part of any donor base. At GiveGab, we understand the importance of maintaining those donor relationships and partnering with payment gateways that serve your organization best. To ensure we are providing your organization with the best experience, we have increased support for migrating your donors' existing, recurring gifts to different payment gateways seamlessly, so you never have to compromise!
It is essential to keep our sites accessible for everyone, so that all may participate in fundraising efforts through our platform. We are constantly making accessibility improvements that will give all site visitors a better user experience. Our most recent updates include adding additional color contrast for text that appears on colored backgrounds to increase readability. You will see this reflected on Giving Day countdowns, footer links, and more!
