Beginning at midnight on May 4th and extending through May 5th, GiveGab kicked off nine separate Giving Days.
Over 2,000 participating nonprofit organizations raised a combined total of over $9.5 million from thousands of supporters from across the globe during their 24-hour giving events. Check out the press release here.
These Giving Days included: Big Give, Idaho Gives, Give DeKalb County, Give Big Gallatin Valley, Yellowstone Valley Gives, Greater Helena Gives, Missoula Gives, Montana Gives, and Flathead Gives.
Below is a short synopsis of each Giving Day.
1. Big Give
Big Give 2017 marked the biggest Giving Day in Big Give’s history. 648 organizations raised over $4.6 million from 31,430 supporters!
Organizations with the Most Raised and Most Donors were continuously updated on the Big Give Leaderboards.
Basis Texas Schools topped the Leaderboards for having the Most Raised in 24 hours
Topping the Leaderboards with the Most Donors in 24 hours was Tracys Dogs.
Having selected GiveGab as their new Giving Day platform following last year’s unfortunate technology glitch during Give Local America, Big Give organizer Scott McAninch shared the following statement after the successful conclusion of their event:
“After the disappointment of 2016, GiveGab really helped us develop a robust, user-friendly giving experience that we believe will allow us to grow in a big way in 2018 and beyond.”
Idaho Gives celebrated their fifth annual Giving Day this year, bringing in over $1.3 million to from 10,569 donors!
Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiin Islands topped the Leaderboards for having the Most Raised
Idaho Humane Society ranked number one for having the Most Donors
3. Give DeKalb County
Give DeKalb County 2017 raised more than $84,000 over what they brought in last year, according to Ben Bingle, manager of DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership and host for this year’s Giving Day event.
In 24 hours, 83 nonprofits raised over $400k from 1,789 donors!
Oaken Acres Wildlife Center topped the Leaderboards for having the Most Raised
Topping the Leaderboards for having the Most Donors was Safe Passage
4. Give Big Gallatin Valley
Give Big Gallatin Valley 2017 surpassed their goal to raise a half million dollars, bringing in over $690k from 3,686 donors!
Eagle Mount Bozeman ended the day with the Most Raised, at $52,000
Cancer Support Community of Montana ended the day with the Most Donors
Give Big participant, Michael Wainwright from Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, shared a statement about the day:
“I’ve enjoyed using the platform from start to finish, and this level of customer service is incredible.”
Yellowstone Valley Gives 2017 raked in over $80k from 754 donors!
ACE Scholarships of Montana had the Most Raised for the day with over $8k in donations
DEAP – Developmental Educational Assistance Program ranked number one for having the Most Donors
Greater Helena Gives 2017 brought in $82k from 608 donors!
Topping the Greater Helena Gives Leaderboards for having both the Most Raised and Most Donors was Big Hearts Under the Big Sky
Missoula Gives 2017 raised close to $300K from 2,389 donors for 155 participating nonprofits!
Poverello Center topped Missoula Gives Leaderboards for having the Most Raised
Buffalo Field Campaign ranked first for having the Most Donors in 24 hours
Montana Gives 2017 raised $1.2 million for 609 nonprofits!
Topping the Montana Gives Leaderboards with the Most Raised and Most Donors was Anaconda Community Foundation
Flathead Gives 2017 brought in over $43k from 416 donors!
ImagineIF Library Foundation brought in the most donations for the day at over $7k raised
Discovery Development Center topped the Leaderboards for having the Most Donors
