Fundraising best practices have rapidly evolved over this past year. As we move forward into the second half of 2021, some trends are likely to fade in importance, but many have the potential to stick around far into the future. Determining which trends are here to stay is vital for nonprofits to effectively fundraise, train their staff, and grow throughout the year.
Giving Days are some of the most exciting, productive fundraising events that nonprofits host each year. These periods of intense fundraising last just 24 hours, generating urgency and rallying the community to help reach your goal.
The reputation that training has isn’t good.
On August 21-24, 2018, we came together for our annual Summer Retreat in the Catskills mountains of NY.
There were several objectives for this year’s retreat, but the primary goal was to get the team together in one place and spend time with each other.
Because many nonprofits rely heavily on year-end fundraising, there’s a lot of pressure to get it right. What you’ll ask for, how you’ll collect donations, what event you’ll host… every piece of the planning is equal parts important and stressful.
